    Missions

Arm Trondheim (Norway) is looking for motivated graduate engineers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of the Arm Media Group which is at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP products for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets. You will join an international team of motivated and innovative engineers working together to remain on the cutting edge of IP and SoC development techniques.
Working in the Arm Media physical implementation group means working on a variety of physical implementation related tasks from steering multimedia IP developments to achieve and demonstrate best-in-class power, performance and area. This role not only involves working closely with our RTL design and verification teams to drive RTL development for next generation media IPs, but also with sales and marketing, customer support, physical library development and our external software EDA vendors. We are actively working on leading-edge transistor processes (e.g. 7nm/16nm FinFET) and cutting-edge techniques and optimization technologies to suit customer requirements.

A wide range of learning opportunities and challenges will be available. The position will also give the opportunity, if desired, to travel and collaborate with our other teams, e.g. in the UK or in Sweden.

    Compétences ou formations requises

Mainly generic skills, on top of the motivation to work on physical design topics:
Good English communication skills, oral and written.
Excellent communication skills: listening, understanding, persuading.
The ability to effectively work alone as well as in a team.
Good analytical skills along with the ability to “think out of the box”.
Knowledge of programming languages, such as TCL, C, Python or Java.
